NYC author, DJ and promoter Andi Harriman has curated a new 7-track collection – this time it is Synthicide Compilation 2.0 featuring tracks that span electronic, ebm, industrial, new beat and synthwave sounds by Ortrotasce, Cervello Elettronico, Xerox, Upsetter, Tronik Youth and Tunnel Signs, as well as Andi herself.
The imprint is named after Andi Harriman’s monthly party that has nurtured dark synth-driven music at Bossa Nova Civic Club in Brooklyn since January 2014 and has already seen the release of Geography of Nowhere 1 and Synthicide Compilation 1.0.
The new compilation is available today via the Synthicide Bandcamp page along with a limited-edition vinyl version available from Ready Made Distribution.
Synthicide will be hosting a record release party on July 4th at the Bossa Nova Civic Club with danceable synth-driven sets by Cervello Elettronico, Xerox, Upsetter, and Andi.
