Today, the legendary Clan of Xymox has released Exodus, their 18th album and one of their darkest efforts to date. Exodus feels as if songwriter Ronny Moorings has taken stock of the times in which we live, and channels all his grief, his anger and his world-weariness into a beautifully dark, danceable work of art.
Formed in Amsterdam in 1984, Clan of Xymox became one of the mainstays of the 4AD label and through their four-decade career, Clan of Xymox has become one of the most influential bands in the worlds of Dark Wave, Goth and Post-Punk.
Exodus, was released today by Metropolis Records on all digital and streaming platforms along with a CD version as well as a limited edition vinyl LP via Bandcamp.
Clan of Xymox will be touring North America in June with additional dates later this year.
