Alfa Matrix has released a new EP from Front 242 exclusively via Bandcamp that can be downloaded for free. The Detox Static EP features a remastered version of “Take One,” plus the remix work by the top 3 winners of the remix competition held last year as well as an additional 3 mixes.
Overwhelmed by the success of the competition and the several hundred remixes that were sent to Alfa Matrix, it took the label much more time than initially expected to get all of the entries played to the various jury members. The remixes on the EP include, AD:KEY, EISFABRIK, KANT KINO, TEFONIK, RESTRICTION 9 and DIGITAL 440.
Alfa Matrix will soon be announcing the upcoming remastered versions of several iconic Front 242 albums.
