Dade City Days – VHS

Dade City Days - VHSSwiss Dark Nights has released VHS, the debut album by Dade City Days.

Formed in Bologna, Italy in 2013, the darkwave band of Andy Harsh (vocals, guitar, synth), Gea Birkin (bass, vocals), and Michele Testi (drums, drum machine) have shared the stage with artists including The Raveonettes, Modern English, The Soft Moon, Fluon, Vanity. Working with Luca Urbani (Soerba, Fluon), they have recorded an original cover of Type O Negative’s “She Burned Me Down” for a tribute compilation released by Darkitalia.

In 2015, Dade City Days composed the music for the special features for the movie La Linea Gialla – Bologna, 2 Agosto, produced by national newspaper La Repubblica and Movie Movie, during the 35th anniversary of the Bologna massacre. At the same time, the band entered the studio with artistic producer Lorenzo Montanà (Tying Tiffany, Simona Gretchen) to produce their first LP, VHS.
