Italian label Avant! Records is set to release the debut album from The Agnes Circle on vinyl, cd and digital download. Drawing on elements of English post-punk and French cold wave, Some Vague Desire will be released November 16th.
The London-based post-punk duo of Rachael Redfern and Florian Voytek work on their 2015 EP Modern Idea has paved the way for their first album that blends cold-wave and post-punk sounds featuring eight songs that combine angular guitars with lush and driven bass lines, the duo envelope their sound together with hypnotic rhythms and melodic croons.
