Electronic musician, synthesist, producer, composer, and guitarist Jeff Burchett wrote and recorded Ashes & Equilibrium for the 2021 RPM Challenge (www.rpmchallenge.com), between February 1, 2021 and February 10, 2021 and the resulting 10-track album was mixed and mastered by him at The Cat Mansion in Clifton, VA.
The album is influenced by current events as well as fantasy and fiction and has modern and classic goth rock, EBM, synth-pop, and alternative rock sounds, while drawing on musical influences ranging from The Sisters Of Mercy, Covenant, MF DOOM, Animal Collective and beyond.
Ashes & Equilibrium is available for pre-order via Bandcamp and will be released March 1, 2021.
