Norwegian post-punk band Mayflower Madame new album Prepared For A Nightmare is now available on CD and vinyl. Their debut LP Observed In A Dream (2016) earned them excellent reviews and tours in both North America and Europe, now their second LP sees the band delving even deeper into their own distinctive blend of psych-noir and post-punk while also including elements of shoegaze and noise-rock.
Over the past years, Mayflower Madame has shared the stage with bands like Killing Joke, Moon Duo, Night Beats, Psychic Ills, Froth, The Underground Youth, Crocodiles, Cosmonauts, La Femme and New Candys, which further might give you an indication of their sonic landscape.
Prepared For A Nightmare is launched via French label Only Lovers Records in collaboration with fellow French label Icy Cold Records and US label Little Cloud Records.
Based in Oslo, Mayflower Madame is Trond Fagernes (vocals/guitar/bass), Havard Haga (guitar) and Ola J. Kyrkjeeide (drums).
