Oakland-based label Psychic Eye will be releasing Sacred Spells – 20-track darkwave and electronic compilation featuring music by Anatomy, Cruz de Navajas, Lovataraxx, Malocculsion, Koban, Twin Tribes, Aesthetic Barrier, Maya Songbird, Zanna Nerra, The Bedroom Witch, Ritual Veil, Terminal A, Yama Uba, M. Lamar, Shadow Age, Cyborg Eye, Sigsaly, Mentira, Vex, and Stacian.
The album which will be available January 22 via Bandcamp in digital format, CD, and cassette will have its proceeds benefiting the TGI Justice Project, a group of transgender, gender variant and intersex people—inside and outside of prisons, jails and detention centers—creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom.
