Hypno5ive is a promoter, DJ, writer, designer, and marketer specializing in post-punk, industrial, EBM, darkwave, goth, and alternative music. Since 1988, he has fostered connections between artists, promoters, venues, and event organizers across the United States and Europe.

With decades of experience spanning live events, artist promotion, public relations, radio, clubs, and both independent and major record labels, Hypno5ive has played an active role in alternative music and has collaborated in promoting performances by influential artists including Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, KMFDM, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy, Marilyn Manson, Nitzer Ebb, Meat Beat Manifesto, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Gene Loves Jezebel, Ramones, Pankow, Vomito Negro, Consolidated, and many others.

His label promotion work has included partnerships with leading independent and major labels such as Wax Trax!, Play It Again Sam, Nettwerk, Mute, Beggars Banquet, Zoth Ommog, TVT, Caroline, Cargo, EMI, Sony Music, BMG, PolyGram, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Atlantic, Elektra, and Sire.

Hypno5ive began his music industry career in South Florida during the mid-1980s, working alongside respected music executives and producers Henry Stone (TK Records), Paul Klein (Hot Productions), and Larry Davis. He also hosted weekly live radio broadcasts as DJ Nice & Nasty with DJ Mohamed Moretta on Rhythm 98 and Power 96.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he DJed, promoted, and organized concerts and events at many of South Florida’s most influential alternative clubs and venues, helping shape the region’s underground music scene.

Now based in New York City, Hypno5ive continues to DJ while focusing on music production, creative direction, visual design, digital marketing, and artist promotion, remaining an active force within the international alternative music community.
